TURKEY POINT ATTRACTIONS.
Turkey Point is a fascinating spot up the Estuary from Bunbury, where campers find the situation an enchanting one, with motor launch and fishing excursions both pleasurable, and profitable. A leisurely 30 minute trip up the river brings one to a strip of land between the river and the ocean where Mr. T. P. Chadd, the proprietor of the grounds, has established every comfort and convenience for his patrons.

Damage to Chadd & Whitty Store 20 October 1912 , Bunbury WA Australia
WILLY-WILLY AT BUNBURY. CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE DONE. Bunbury, Oct. 20. A willy-willy, accompanied by a heavy hailstorm, passed over central Bunbury be tween 3 and 4 o clock this morning. Several sheets of iron were blown off the Court house and other buildings, and the roof was torn clean away from Mr. J. Bolden's shop. Chimneys at Mrs. W. Mitchell's residence and at the Central Infants' School were blown down, while portions of the roofs of Mr. E. M. Clarke's warehouse and "Hawthorn House" were blown yards away. The major portion of the balcony of Messrs. Chadd and Whittys' business premises was hurled into the middle of the road, and a side plate-glass window was blown in, smash ing a large quantity of glassware. Numerous trees were torn up by the roots, telegraph, telephone, and electric light wires were broken along the track of the willy-willy, which came down Stephen Street and thence along White Road (now Stirling St).
